The American star secured a top 10 finish at the 2023 BMW Championship in Chicago, Illinois, USA over the weekend.
Schauffele finished eighth and he is chasing his first FedExCup win coming into the Tour Championship where he has a starting score of 3-under.

The San Diego-born golfer knows what it takes to win the Tour Championship as he won the tournament in 2017
Schauffele birdied the 72nd hole to claim his second tour victory, by one stroke over Justin Thomas, and become the first rookie to win the Tour Championship.
Since then the 29-year-old has finished as runner-up in 2019, 2020, and 2022, and he will now be eager to go one step further and win the tournament.
