Barcelona booked their place in the last eight with a 4-2 aggregate win over Napoli while Bayern marched into the quarter-finals following a 7-1 thumping of Chelsea over two legs.

In contrast to Bayern's run after lockdown, Barcelona have struggled and let slip their lead atop the LaLiga standings as fierce rivals Real Madrid claimed the league crown. With all their hopes now pinned on the Champions League, the Spanish club will look to Lionel Messi for inspiration.
Messi has scored 31 times in 43 games this season and will be hoping to inspire his team to victory as he himself aims to win a fifth UCL crown.
