2019/20 Premier League
Round 20
28-29 December 2019
Manchester United will look to add three points to their tally for the current campaign when they face hosts Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday 28 December 2019, kick-off at 20:45. The match is one of 10 spread over 28-29 December in the 20th round of the current Premier League season.
Burnley have endured a relatively tough season to date but are hopeful of stringing together some good results and pushing into the top half of the table.
"The margins are often tight for us," said manager Sean Dyche. "We're always a work in progress. It's not throwing money at it and bringing all sorts in.
"It's constant development, it's little edges, little increments. A lot is down to the players, just their know-how of the Premier League and how they keep getting more and more experience within it.”

Man United often excel in this busy period over the festive season, but they will do well not to underestimate the Clarets – especially in their own back yard.
“I'm looking forward to going into work again because these boys want to improve and learn. You always want wins, and you want the momentum to carry on,” said manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who added: “We are, as a team and a group, going forward.”
In head-to-head stats, Burnley and Man United have met in 82 previous matches. The Red Devils have claimed 36 wins compared to 29 for the Clarets, while 17 games have been drawn.
United took four points off Burnley in the teams’ two Premier League matches last season, winning 2-0 at Turf Moor in September 2019 before playing out a 2-2 draw in the return game at Old Trafford in January 2019.
