Newcastle United will face off with Manchester City in a
FA Cup quarter-final match at St James' Park on June 28.
The Magpies progressed into this round after defeating English Championship side West Bromwich Albion 3-2 away.
Prior to that, they had knocked out English League One outfit Oxford United in another away match.
Newcastle are undefeated in their last two home matches in the FA Cup having registered one victory and one draw.
Steve Bruce, the Newcastle manager, is looking forward to their clash with the defending champions City.
"We could not have wished for more difficult opponents, we're up against one of the best teams in Europe," Bruce said.

"But it's the FA Cup and that is the beauty of it. We will try our best and see if we can get through to a semi-final at Wembley."
Meanwhile, City booked their place in this round after edging out English Championship side Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 away.

Before that, the Citizens had brushed aside English Championship club Fulham in a home match.
City are undefeated in their last three matches on the road in the competition having registered three consecutive victories.
The last time Newcastle and City clashed in the FA Cup was on 17 February 2002. The Magpies recorded a 1-0 victory over the Citizens in the fifth round proper match at St James' Park.
