Scottie Scheffler will be determined to win the
Ryder Cup once again having played a key role in helping Team US win the 2021 edition.
What to know about Scheffler
The American superstar was a Captain’s Pick in 2021 and he went on to make his Ryder Cup debut at Whistling Straits in the USA.
Scheffler has won six times on the PGA Tour, including the Players Championship and the WM Phoenix Open in 2023.
He leads the PGA Tour with a 68.629 scoring average this season while also tallying 17 top-10 finishes.
Ryder Cup record
Scheffler went 2-0-1 in his Ryder Cup debut, including a resounding 4-and-3 singles match victory over Jon Rahm and Team US went on to clinch the trophy.
The 27-year-old is the current world number one player in the world (OWGR) and he was the first automatic qualifier for the 2023 US Ryder Cup Team.

“The experience I had at the Ryder Cup two years ago in Wisconsin is something I will never forget and something I can't wait to replicate in September,” Scheffler said.
“Zach [Johnson - Team US captain]’s an amazing leader and I'm ready to do whatever it takes to help him, and our team bring the Ryder Cup back home to the United States.”
