Matt Fitzpatrick will be eager to become the first non-American golfer to win the
RBC Heritage twice since the tournament's inception.
What to know about Fitzpatrick
The Englishman turned professional in 2014 after winning the 2013 U.S. Amateur win, which took him to the top of the World Amateur Golf Ranking.
Fitzpatrick boasts 10 professional wins, including two PGA Tour events, nine European Tour titles and one golf major tournament - the 2022 US Open.

The former Northwestern University student was in action at the recent 2025 Masters Tournament in Georgia, USA, where he finished 40th.
Fitzpatrick is coming into the 2025 RBC Heritage sitting in the 75th spot on the Official World Golf Rankings and his best OWGR ranking is sixth place.

The Jupiter, Florida-based golfer earned his second PGA Tour win at the 2023 RBC Heritage by defeating then-defending champion Jordan Spieth in a playoff.

"It’s hard to describe,” Fitzpatrick said of his 2023 RBC Heritage victory, having become the first Englishman to win the tournament since Nick Faldo in 1984.
“I said to [caddie] Billy [Foster] it doesn’t get better than this – walking down here, just looking around. It’s a course I dreamed of playing when I was young.
“I managed to play it a couple of times with my dad and this one means more than anything. “Of every single one on the calendar, this is the one that I would want to win the most.”
