2024/25 English Premier League
Matchday 32

Chelsea FC v Ipswich Town
Stamford Bridge
London, England
Sunday, 13 April 2025
Kick-off is at 14h00

Chelsea FC will be looking to compound Ipswich Town's Premier League woes when they clash at the Stamford Bridge on 13 April.

Current Form

The Blues are undefeated in their last two matches in the English top-flight, having drawn 0-0 with Brentford FC away on 6 April.

Chelsea are also undefeated in their last six home matches in the league, having registered five successive wins and one draw at the Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, Ipswich suffered a 2-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers at home on 5 April and it was their second defeat in their last three Premier Leaguegames.

The Tractor Boys secured a win over AFC Bournemouth in their last away match in the league and the victory ended their six-match winless run on the road.

Team News

Chelsea players David Datro Fofana, Wesley Fofana, Omari Kellyman, Aarón Anselmino and Roméo Lavia are all currently injured, while their teammate Mykhailo Mudryk is suspended.

Ipswich, on the other hand, do not have any suspension concerns, but Chiedozie Ogbene, Wes Burns, Sammie Szmodics, Arijanet Muric and Omari Hutchinson are all on the club's injury.

Quotes

"It’s a tough place to come to, so to come away with a clean sheet and a point is a positive that we can take," Chelsea star Tosin Adarabioyo said after his side's draw with Brentford.

"Those two [Bryan Mbeumo & Yoane Wissa] are a very dynamic duo. They attack you and attack you hard and fast. But I felt we dealt with those combinations.

"They put 11 men behind the ball and they attacked fast, but we dealt with it well. Back-to-back clean sheets are always important, and we’ll be hoping to take that into final few games of the season."

Head-to-Head

Ipswich secured a 2-0 win over Chelsea in their last meeting in the league, which was on 30 December at Portman Road.

The win ended the Tractor Boys' seven-match winless run against the Blues, who had recorded three wins and four draws.
