2024/25 Italian Serie A
Matchday 32
Inter Milan v Cagliari FC

Milan, Italy
Saturday, 12 April 2025

Inter Milan will be keen to bounce back to winning ways in the
Serie A when they host Cagliari FC at the San Siro on 12 April.
Current Form
The Big Grass Snake were held to a 2-2 draw by Parma Calcio away on 5 April and they are unbeaten in their last six matches in the Italian top-flight.
Inter are also unbeaten in their last 12 home matches in the league, having registered nine victories and three draws at the San Siro.
Meanwhile, Cagliari drew 0-0 with Empoli FC away on 6 April and they are unbeaten in their last two matches in Serie A.
The Islanders are also winless in their last six league matches on the road, having registered three draws and three defeats as the visitors.
Team News
Inter are likely to be without the injured players Valentín Carboni, Piotr Zielinski and Mehdi Taremi, but the champions have no suspension concerns.
On the other hand, Cagliari also do not have any suspension worries and Carlo Soldati is the only player on the club's injury list at the moment.
Quotes
"We shouldn’t have allowed them to find the spark that led to them getting back into it. At this point in the season, it’s not easy for anyone to maintain consistency for 90 minutes," Inter assistant manager Massimilano Farris said after his side's draw with Parma.
"In the past, we’ve paid the price at the start of the second half, so our message at half-time was to come out strong after the break. In the first ten minutes, nothing really happened, but we needed to handle key moments in the box better.
"There’s room for improvement, but one of this team’s biggest strengths is its ability to stay focused and take it one match at a time. The result is disappointing, but we’ll get back on track.
Head-to-Head
Inter thrashed Cagliari 3-0 in their last league meeting, which was on 28 December at the Unipol Domus.
As a result, the Big Grass Snake are undefeated in their last nine matches in Serie A against the Islanders, having registered seven wins and two draws.
