Deportivo Alaves will face off with Real Madrid in a
Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio de Mendizorroza on August 14.
The Glorious One succumbed to a 1-0 defeat to Sevilla away in their final game of the 2020/21 league season in a match which was played on May 23.
The defeat ended Alaves' three-match unbeaten run in this competition having recorded two successive wins and one draw.

However, Alaves are undefeated in their last four matches at their home ground, Estadio de Mendizorroza having registered three wins and one draw.
Meanwhile, Madrid ended last season with a 2-1 win over Villarreal at home in a league game which was played on May 22.
The win extended the Whites' unbeaten run to 23 matches in this competition having recorded 18 wins and five draws.
Madrid are also unbeaten in their last 14 matches run on the road in La Liga having registered five draws and nine victories as the visitors.

Carlo Ancelotti, Madrid's new manager, says his charges have shown great desire, excitement and hunger to have a good season.
"I've found that there’s a lot of quality amongst the youngsters and real commitment amongst the more experienced players," Ancelotti said.
"I've really enjoyed finding those two things: the quality amongst the youngsters, many of whom I didn't know very well,
"And, above all, the commitment from the likes of [Dani] Carvajal, Nacho, Marcelo, Lucas Vázquez and Isco, who've won it all in recent years and still have great desire, excitement and hunger to have a good season, which is what we’re all looking to do."
The last meeting between Alaves and Madrid in a league encounter was on 23 January 2021.
Madrid emerged 4-1 winners over Alaves in a match that took place at Estadio de Mendizorroza.
