Benevento Calcio will square off with AC Milan in a Serie A match at the Stadio Ciro Vigorito on January 3.
The Sorcerers brushed aside Udinese 2-0 away in their previous league game which was played on December 23.
The win extended Benevento's unbeaten run to three matches in this competition having recorded two successive wins and one draw.

They are also unbeaten in their last three home matches in Serie A having registered two draws and one victory.
Milan edged out Lazio 3-2 at home in their previous league game which was played on December 23.
The victory extended the Rossoneri's unbeaten run to 26 matches stretching back to last season, having recorded 19 victories and seven draws during this period.
They are also undefeated in their last 14 away games in Serie A having registered four draws and 10 wins.

Alessio Romagnoli, the Milan captain and defender, says they are targeting nothing but a win over Benevento after ending the year with a victory over Lazio.
"Hopefully, we can continue like this or do even better and the fans return to the stadium as soon as possible," Romagnoli said.
“Every match must be played to the maximum, there are many strong teams. We are a young team with many ideas, the important thing is to continue like this and improve.
“We had suffered more in previous Christmases, so we intend to enjoy this one, as a great deal has changed in a year."
The last meeting between Benevento and Milan in the league was on 21 April 2018. Benevento caused an upset as they defeated Milan 1-0 in a match which was played at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.
