The Blues made it eight games without defeat in the league with a 0-0 draw at home to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend to remain two points off top spot.
Chelsea have conceded just once in their last five games and manager Frank Lampard is impressed with the strides made by his defence, and feels that they should've beaten Spurs to leapfrog to the summit of league standings.
When asked whether the draw was a 'good point', Lampard told Sky Sports: "I’ll tell you at the end of the season when it all comes together.
"Against this Tottenham team who’ve got players in form who can cause you real problems as we saw last week, I’m happy with a clean sheet but in game play we should win.
"I expected us to have a lot of possession which we did. I thought it would be hard to create chances, I thought we created enough to win the game. So we had good control, the clean sheet factor (is good) when we’re against a team that are made to counter attack and have amazing players. We didn’t give them a sniff. But we didn’t take our chances."
Leeds returned to winning ways in the league with a 1-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park last time out. Raphinha scored the only goal of the game as last season's Championship winners moved up to 12th spot on league standings.
This will be the first Premier League meeting between the two clubs since May 2004 when a solitary Jesper Grønkjær goal secured a 1-0 win for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
