Elche CF will take on FC Barcelona in a
Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero on March 6.
The Green Striped Ones succumbed to a 3-0 defeat to Levante away in their previous league encounter which was played on February 25.
It was Elche's second defeat in their last three matches in this competition, while the other game ended in a win.

The Green Striped Ones are undefeated in their last five home matches in La Liga having recorded one draw and four wins.
“Let’s get up and continue as our people will be disappointed and we have to return their commitment and affection,” Elche manager Francisco said after their defeat to Levante.
“Mentally we are very strong. It is true that until we went 2-0 down the team was doing things well, with almost total dominance in the first half.
"An individual error condemned us at 1-0 and the same thing happens again with an individual error at 2-0."

Meanwhile, Barcelona hammered a hapless Athletic Bilbao side 4-0 at home in their previous league game which was played on February 27.
As a result, Barca are now unbeaten in their last 10 matches in the competition having registered six victories and four draws.
Barcelona are also undefeated in their last nine matches on the road in La Liga having recorded four wins and five draws as the visitors.
The last meeting between Elche and Barcelona in a league match was on 18 December 2021.
Barcelona claimed a 3-2 win over Elche in a match which was played at the fourth largest association football stadium in the world in capacity, Camp Nou.
