2024 Memorial Tournament is set to take place in Dublin, Ohio, Columbus, USA between 6 and 9 June.
What to know about the tournament
The event was founded in 1976 by one of the greatest golfers of all time Jack Nicklaus who is also the host of the PGA tournament.
It is conducted to showcase the world’s best golfers competing in one of the most challenging venues in the world for the enjoyment of spectators.

Tournament officials have announced the final field for the 2024 Memorial Tournament presented by Workday.
The contingent of 73 players features six past winners of the Memorial Tournament and some of the best golfers in the world.
Favourites
Defending champion Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler will headline the 2024 Memorial Tournament field.
The list of top-10 players in the Official World Golf Ranking in the Memorial Tournament’s world-class field includes Hovland, Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Rory McIlroy, Wyndham Clark, Ludvig Åberg, Collin Morikawa, Patrick Cantlay and Max Homa.
In addition to Hovland and Cantlay, other past Memorial winners returning to Muirfield Village Golf Club include Hideki Matsuyama, Billy Horschel, Matt Kuchar, and Justin Rose.
\What Is At Stake
The 2024 Memorial Tournament purse is set for $20 million, with the winner receiving $4 million and 500 FedEx Cup points.
The champion will also receive a trophy from Nicklaus who won the tournament in 1977 and 1984.

"I'm excited about the field we have this year, and it's great to see the support we have from the top players in the game," Nicklaus said.
"With the smaller field, we're sort of going back to a more exclusive group of players like we had originally in our early years.
"I think it's as good a field as you can have in a PGA TOUR event, and we're going to have a strong winner. The golf course is in terrific shape. It's going to be a great week."
