Ludvig Aberg will be hoping to become the second Swedish golfer to win the Travelers Championship after Freddie Jacobson who won the event in 2011.
What to know about Aberg
The 24-year-old has established himself as one of the best young golfers in the world since he turned professional in 2023 when he took part in the RBC Canadian Open on the PGA Tour.
Aberg has so far won four professional tournaments and was also awarded the Ben Hogan Award as the best collegiate player in the United States in both 2022 and 2023.

The 1,91-meter-tall golfer was in action at the recent 2024 US Open where he made the cut, but he finished 12th - his second-best performance in a golf major.
Aberg is placed fourth on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) and it is also his best overall ranking.
Why Aberg is among the favourites
The year 2024 has seen the 2023 Swedish Golfer of the Year finish second at the Masters Tournament and he also finished second at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Aberg won his first tournament on the PGA Tour, the 2023 RSM Classic and he will be eager to record his second win this weekend in order to consolidate his place in the OWGR's top four.
