Chicago Bulls v Brooklyn Nets

Friday 14 March
Tip-off at 01:00
Currently on a three game winning streak, Chicago Bulls are seeking to keep up the momentum when they match up with the Brooklyn Nets at the United Center on Friday morning, 14 March.
The Bulls are 10
th in the Eastern Conference standings and their opponents in this one are occupying 13
th. With back-to-back wins against the Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers, Bulls’ Josh Giddey is making headlines.
Giddey has become just the second guard in the franchise's history to record three triple-doubles in a single season, joining the iconic Michael Jordan as the only other guard to accomplish this impressive milestone.

Coby White had established himself as a promising lead ball-handler for the Bulls last season, with career-high averages in minutes and usage, but the team still chose to bring in Josh Giddey through a trade with the Thunder, sending Alex Caruso to Oklahoma City in the process.
Bulls insider K.C. Johnson suggested that Coby White may have felt frustrated by the team's decision to bring in Josh Giddey.
“Change has defined Coby White’s tenure with the Bulls,” Johnson said.
“…Yes, in his mind, he put a lot of work in last season to become the lead option, the main playmaker. He had the ball in his hands a lot. His minutes were at a career high and his usage was at a career high, and what happens? The Bulls trade for Josh Giddey. I think privately, I think Coby has been frustrated at times. But, it’s been private.”
Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets are coming off the back of a 109-104 loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers and will be looking to bounce back.
As one of the standout performers for the Nets this season, Russell reflected on his tumultuous time with the Los Angeles Lakers and contrasted it with his positive experience with the New York side.
“I’ve been on so many different teams, where the team is not a priority,” the point guard shared in an interview.
“To be here [with the Nets], the team is everything from every aspect you can think of. It’s team-oriented. As a team, we win. As a team, we lose. To be engraved into that and just fit in is a good feeling.”
