Nigeria will face off with DR Congo in an
international friendly match at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Monday.
The Super Eagles will be back in action for the first time since they lost 2-0 to Serbia in a friendly match in London, England last March.
This was Nigeria's second defeat in their last five matches in all competitions.
Their last win was against Poland, who they beat 1-0 in Wroclaw last March.
Meanwhile, Congo will be eager to return to winning ways having lost 2-0 to Tanzania in a friendly match in Dar es Salaam last March.
The defeat ended the Leopards' three-match unbeaten run in all competitions.
Their last victory was against Guinea, who thrashed 3-1 at home in Kinshasa last November.
The last meeting between Nigeria and DR Congo was on the 8th of October 2015.
The Leopards beat the Super Eagles 2-0 in a friendly match in Belgium.
