Manchester City will hope to head into the World Cup break at the top of the table as they seek a third straight victory over Brentford on Saturday, November 12 at the Etihad Stadium.
The Citizens maintained the pressure on
Premier League leaders Arsenal with a hard-fought 2-1 victory at home to Fulham last Saturday, which kept the gap between first and second place to two points.
Pep Guardiola's side have now won their last three games since Liverpool ended their unbeaten start to the season on October 16 and their home record remains spotless this term.

Guardiola was full of praise for City after they overcame the 26th-minute dismissal of Joao Cancelo to beat the Cottagers courtesy of a 95th-minute penalty from Erling Haaland, sparking jubilant scenes at the Etihad.
"We didn't win the Premier League today, but this moment makes sense for our job," the Spaniard said after the dramatic win.
"Everyone was exceptional, Playing for 65 minutes vs Fulham with 10 men, the way we played, the moment and my period here in Manchester celebrating with the fans... (seeing) the faces in the crowds, the run round the pitch - it was very good.
"(It was) So exciting, the emotion as a manager. After seven years here, you have doubts, (you have) thousands of training sessions and matches and travel but still they are alive and want to do it. It makes me so, so proud."
The Bees have struggled for consistency this season and find themselves in 11th position after winning just three of their opening 14 matches.
Thomas Frank's team were denied a first win in four outings last Saturday when a 96th-minute own-goal from Mathias Jorgensen earned Nottingham Forest a 2-2 draw.

The west Londoners had battled back from a goal down to go 2-1 in front with 15 minutes left on the clock and Frank was frustrated to only come away from the City Ground with a point despite missing several first-team regulars.
"That's tough to take when you are leading with six minutes of stoppage time and you don't get the win," the Dane said.
"I'm very proud of the team, we were a little bit down to the bare bones. Three of our four captains - [Christian] Norgaard, Pontus [Jansson] and Ivan [Toney] - were out.
"Kristoffer Ajer and Aaron Hickey were also out, Vitaly Janelt we had to take off at half-time, [Mathias] Jensen hasn't trained the whole week. So other players stepped in at a difficult away ground.
"It is very noisy here. We went 1-0 down, Liverpool did that two weeks ago and couldn't come back. The way we approached the second half made me very proud and pleased."
