The
Rossoneri followed three successive wins to start the season with a 1-1 draw at Juventus on Sunday to sit level on 10 points with Inter atop the league standings.
Ante Rebic levelled matters for the visitors, who were without both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud, in Turin.
"We came here to win the game," Milan manager Stefano Pioli told DAZN in the aftermath.
"Juventus did better in the first 20 minutes, were more determined and focused, but we continued playing and did much better towards the end with chances to win, so it was overall a positive performance."
Venezia have made a rocky start on their return to Serie A. Following back-to-back defeats to Napoli and Udinese,
Leoni ałati did claim a 2-1 win at Empoli but defeat at home to Spezia by the same scoreline this past weekend brought them straight back down to earth.
