AS Roma will go head to head with Empoli FC in an Italian
Serie A match at the Stadio Olimpico on October 03.
The Yellow and Reds suffered a 3-2 defeat to their Rome rivals, Lazio away in their previous league match which was played on September 26.
It was Roma's second defeat in their last three matches in this competition, while the other match ended in a victory.

However, the Yellow and Reds are unbeaten in their last seven matches at home in Serie A having recorded one draw and six wins.
“I am always serene. During the half-time break I told the players that in transition they could really hurt their opponents," Roma manager Jose Mourinho said after their defeat to Lazio.
"But in doing that obviously we would be taking some risks ourselves on the other end. “So, yes, we showed quality, we showed heart, we showed team spirit.
"Maybe you don’t agree with me, but we deserved a different result from this game. And the referee had a massive impact on this game.”

Meanwhile, Empoli secured an impressive 4-2 victory over Bologna at home in their previous league match which was played on September 26.
As a result, the Blues are undefeated in their last two matches in this competition having registered two successive wins.
Empoli are also undefeated in their last two matches on the road in Serie A having recorded two consecutive victories.
The last meeting between Roma and Empoli in a league game was on 11 March 2019.
Roma narrowly defeated Empoli 2-1 in a match that was played at the biggest sports facility in Rome, Stadio Olimpico.
