UC Sampdoria will face off with Inter Milan in an
Italian Serie A match at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris on September 12.
The Blue Circled managed to hold Sassuolo to a 0-0 draw away in their previous league match which was played on August 29.
Sampdoria are now winless in their last two matches in this competition having registered one draw and one defeat.

The Blue Circled were beaten by AC Milan in their last home game and the defeat ended their four-match unbeaten run in Serie A at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris.
Meanwhile, Inter claimed a 3-1 win over Hellas Verona away in their previous league match which was played on August 27.
The win extended the Big Grass Snake's unbeaten run to three matches in this competition having recorded three successive victories.
Inter have won two of their last three matches on the road in Serie A, while the other game ended in a defeat.

"We were excellent in the first 15 minutes but then Verona's goal took the wind out of our sails," Simone Inzaghi, the Inter manager, said after their win over Verona.
"We made a few mistakes and were a bit static. We have to give credit to Verona too though as they played at an incredible tempo in the first half.
“At half time I told the lads they wouldn't be able to maintain that tempo and we did well to keep calm and bide our time. We got the equaliser then scored two fantastic goals to earn the points.”
The last meeting between Sampdoria and Inter in a league game was on 8 May 2021.
Inter secured an emphatic 5-1 win over Sampdoria in a match that was played at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
