Chelsea will welcome Tottenham Hotspur in an English Premier League match at the Stamford Bridge Stadium on Wednesday.
Chelsea succumbed to a 6-0 defeat to Manchester City away in their previous league game which was played over a week ago.
This was the Blues' third defeat in their last four matches in the competition having won the other match which was against Huddersfield Town.
They are undefeated in their last three league games at home having recorded two wins and one draw at the Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea will be keen to return to winning ways when they face a wounded Tottenham side.
Meanwhile, Tottenham suffered a 2-1 defeat to Burnley away in their previous league game which was played over the weekend.
The defeat ended Spurs' four-match unbeaten run in the league having registered four successive wins before facing Burnley.
The loss also ended their four-match unbeaten run on the road in the league having recorded four consecutive wins away.
Tottenham will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways when they take a struggling Chelsea side.
The last league meeting between Chelsea and Tottenham was on the 24th of November 2018.
Spurs thrashed the Blues 3-1 in a match which was played at the Wembley Stadium.
