2021/22 English Premier League
Matchday 26
West Ham United v Newcastle United
London Stadium
London, England
Saturday, 19 February 2022
Kick-off is at 13h30
Newcastle will be looking to keep the momentum going when they take on West Ham in a
Premier League clash at the London Stadium on Saturday, February 19.
Eddie Howe's side beat Aston Villa 1-0 at St James' Park on Sunday to make it three wins on the spin as they pulled four points clear of the relegation zone.
The Magpies now find themselves in 17th place after going unbeaten in their last five league encounters following a difficult start to Howe's tenure on Tyneside, which saw him lose four of his opening seven matches at the helm.

Howe was delighted with the determination and resilience shown by his players to come away with all three points against the Villans, while admitting the lift in confidence is aiding them in the right for survival.
"We feel we have got a good balance; the shape of the team is good and we feel the organisation is there," he told Sky Sports.
"We had to manage the lead and do the horrible things really well and, even in the last few minutes, the lads were putting their bodies on the line and stopping crosses and blocking shots - everything you need when you are in a relegation battle.
"In weeks gone by, we might have lost that game - or not won it - and now I think we are showing newfound resilience and confidence, so that is great to see."
The Hammers clinged onto the fourth spot courtesy of a 2-2 draw away to Leicester last time out, which followed on from their 1-0 home win against Watford on February 8.

David Moyes' men remain a point clear of Manchester United in the chase for Champions League football, although the fifth-placed Red Devils have a game in hand.
Moyes acknowledged his team didn't perform very well against the Foxes, but the point meant they still occupy the final seat for Europe's elite club competition.
"A point is OK. We're still in that period where we're not quite finding our mojo and our rhythm really and we know we can do a lot better. But, look, while we're not playing as well, we're still picking up points," the Scot said in his post-match press conference.
"We would like it to be more but while we're not quite on it, we need to hang on in there and get what we can."
