2019/20 Premier League
Round 24
21-23 January
Manchester United and Burnley will meet for a Northern derby with a clash at Old Trafford on Wednesday 22 January 2020, kick-off at 21:15. The match is one of 10 spread across the midweek of 21-23 January for the 24th round of the 2019/20 Premier League season.
United’s last home match produced a 4-0 win over Norwich City, with Marcus Rashford marking his 200th appearance for the club with two goals, and he is set to be the man around whom the Red Devils will build their team going forward.
“He has got everything to be a top-class player, attitude, skill, physique. And he will become so much better,” said manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer of Rashford.

Burnley have lost three of their last four away matches in the Premier League, most recently succumbing 3-0 at Chelsea to drop them ever closer to the relegation zone.
“If you think it's going to be easy, you're wrong and if you think you're going to put loads of wins back-to-back together, you're wrong,” said manager Sean Dyche. “Therefore you've got to get used to the things that hit you and then you've got to remind yourself of the good things you do, to work through those phases to get what you want.”
In head-to-head stats, Man United and Burnley have met in 129 previous matches. The Red Devils have claimed 62 wins compared to 44 for the Clarets, while 23 games have been drawn.
When the teams met in the Premier League earlier this season, at Turf Moor in December 2019, United claimed a 2-0 away win thanks to goals from Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.
