2019-20 English Premier League
14-17 July 2020
Selected matches, round 36
Arsenal will be aiming to put an end to their poor run of form against Liverpool when they welcome the English Premier League champions to Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The Gunners haven't beaten their league rivals since thumping the Reds 4-1 in 2015 and will welcome the Merseyside giants in desperate need of turning the tables on the champions, as the North London club aim to secure Europa League football for next season.
It has been another disappointing season for Arsenal, but a good run of form in 2020 has boosted spirits around the club and they will be aiming to secure victory over fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur, before rolling out the red carpet for Jurgen Klopp's men.

Liverpool have already ended their wait of a first league title in 30 years and are now just waiting to get their hands on the trophy. The Reds beat a plucky Brighton & Hove Albion side 3-1 and will host Burnley before traveling to England's capital where they will be aiming to dent Arsenal's hopes of European football.
"It was a difficult game against a good opponent, a deserved win. Job done, job well done in big parts of the game but not in all. That’s how it is. I think we started really, really well, we finished really, really well, but in between we left the door a bit too wide open," said Klopp following his club's win over Brighton.
When the two teams met in the English Premier League earlier this season, Liverpool claimed a 3-1 win thanks to goals from Joel Matip and Mohamed Salah (two).
