Rajamangala National Stadium
Bangkok, Thailand
Tuesday, 12 July 2022
Kick-off is at 2 pm
Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp will be looking to maintain his good record against Manchester United at the Rajamangala National Stadium on July 12.
The German tactician will face United for the 17th time across all
competitions since he took charge of Liverpool in October 2015 - replacing Brendan Rodgers.
Klopp has the upper hand in his rivalry against United having guided the Reds to six wins and suffering just three defeats while seven matches ended in a draw.
The last meeting between United and Liverpool was on 19 April 2022 with Klopp leading his side to a 4-0 win in a Premier League match that was played at the Anfield Stadium.

"Top level, obviously, very important. We started the game well and finished the game extremely well off," Klopp said after their win over United.
"In between we had a spell where we had to adjust to the different high-press system, line-up and organisation of the opponent.
"It makes it really tricky. Yes, first half and the second part of the second half, with the result already more or less in the pocket, it was absolutely outstanding. We were not easy to play against tonight, definitely not."
The win extended the Merseyside giants' unbeaten run against United to three matches having recorded three consecutive victories over their arch-rivals.
The last time Klopp tasted a defeat to the Red Devils was on January 2021 as Liverpool succumbed to a 3-2 loss in the FA Cup match at Old Trafford.
The two-time The Best FIFA Men's Coach came out tops when Liverpool faced United in their last pre-season friendly match which was the International Champions Cup encounter in July 2018.
The Reds hammered the Red Devils 4-1 in a match which was played at the Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA.
This will be the 210th meeting between United and Liverpool since their maiden match on 12 October 1895.
United lead in the head-to-head record between the two teams, with 81 wins to Liverpool's 70; the remaining 58 matches have finished as draws.
