Sam Burns will be hoping to continue his impressive form and clinch his first major tournament by winning the 2022
US Open at The Country Club.
The American golfer has been one of the standout players in the 2021-22 PGA Tour season having won three tournaments including the 2022 Valspar Championship.
Burns' great form in the current campaign has seen him move into the top 10 on the Official World Golf Rankings as he is currently ranked ninth.

The Louisana-born golfer has won four PGA Tour events namely the Valspar Championship (twice), Sanderson Farms Championship and Charles Schwab Challenge.
Burns won his second PGA Tour title at the Sanderson Farms Championship in October 2021 and it was his maiden win of the current term.
The former Louisana State University student then clinched his second consecutive Valspar Championship title, beating Davis Riley in a playoff in March this year.
Burns continued his good form by winning the Charles Schwab Challenge last month after making a 38-foot birdie putt in a playoff against world number one Scottie Scheffler.

“I can assure you, he wanted to beat me more than anybody else,” Burns said after winning the Charles Schwab Challenge.
"And I wanted to beat him more than anybody else. It’s going to be a fun story that we’ll get to have for the rest of our careers, and fortunately, I got the better end of it this time.
"But hopefully we’re at the beginning of these situations," he continued.
“I played just such a good round of golf today … I’m just proud of the way we finished, and then to make that putt is just icing on the cake.”
Willie Anderson, Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan and Jack Nicklaus hold the record for most US Open victories, each winning four.
