Arsenal will be hoping to avoid a potential slip-up in the race for the
Premier League title when they make the short trip across London to face Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday, March 12.
The Gunners had to dig deep to beat Bournemouth 3-2 last Saturday as they battled back from two goals down to win through a 97th-minute goal from Reiss Nelson.
A fourth victory on the spin maintained the five-point gap to Manchester City at the summit, with the defending champions triumphing 2-0 against Newcastle earlier in the day.
The title is effectively a two-horse race after Manchester United suffered a humiliating 7-0 defeat at the hands of fierce rivals Liverpool last Sunday to remain 14 points adrift of the league leaders with a game in hand.
Tottenham are a further four points behind the Red Devils in fourth spot following their 1-0 loss at Wolves, while the Reds moved up to fifth position with a fourth win in five outings.

The Cottagers trail the Merseysiders by three points ahead of their clash with Brentford on Monday, March 6 as Marco Silva's side look to extend their unbeaten run to five matches after a 1-1 draw with Wolves most recently.
Brighton (8th) hammered West Ham 4-0 last Saturday to close within a point of the west Londoners, who are four clear of the ninth-placed Bees going into their encounter at the Brentford Community Stadium.
Aleksandar Mitrovic has been central to Fulham's cause this term, bagging 11 goals in 19 appearances to equal his best-ever tally in a Premier League season. The Serbia international spearheaded the club's promotion push in 2021-22 with a remarkable 43 goals from 44 games as they won the Championship title.
Thomas Partey made his first start in three games against the Cherries after injury ruled him out of the trip to City and visit of Villa. The Ghana international has played a vital role for the Gunners in the middle of the park and registered his third goal of the campaign in the dramatic victory over Bournemouth.

In team news, Joao Palhinha serves a one-match suspension for the hosts after accumulating 10 yellow cards and joins Tom Cairney (ankle), Neeskens Kebano (calf) and Layvin Kurzawa (Knee) on the sidelines. The visitors must do without Eddie Nketiah (ankle), Leandro Trossard (groin), Gabriel Jesus and Mohamed Elneny (both knee).
Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira is urging his team-mates to put their best foot forward after being denied a third successive win by Wolves last time out.
"We were a bit disappointed not to get more out of the Wolves match... but we can show what we're capable of," the Brazilian said.
