JC Ritchie will be targeting his first DP World Tour title at the
2022 Joburg Open in what will be his sixth appearance.
The South African made his debut at the tournament in 2016 and has gone on to feature in it every year since then, with his best finish of T8 achieved in 2021.

Ritchie has had a busy year, winning the Bain's Whisky Cape Town Open and the Jonsson Workwear Open on the Challenge Tour in February, while finshing second at the British Challenge in October.
The 28-year-old has 10 Sunshine Tour victories to his name but is still searching for his maiden success on the DP World Tour.
He most recently featured at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, carding a 5-over 293 to finish T52 after five straight appearances on the Challenge Tour.
Houghton Golf Club will be hosting the event for the first time, although it has been home to the South African Open on eight occasisons and its president, Rodney Rottanburg, has welcomed the opportunity to add to the club's rich history.
"We are delighted to welcome the Joburg Open as well as the DP World Tour and Sunshine Tour to our historic club," Rottanburg said.
"Houghton is a proud member of the Johannesburg golf community and we are honoured to reflect this by hosting one of the City's premier sports events and a major international golf tournament."
