Nigeria will be targeting third successive victory at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals when they face Madagascar in a Group B match on Sunday, June 30.
This match is set to be played at the Alexandria Stadium. Kick-off is at 17h00.
The two nations have met four times with Nigeriarecording three wins and one game ended in a draw.
Nigeria defeated Madagascar 2-0 in their last competitive game which was a 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Nigeria recorded their second consecutive win when they edged out Guinea 1-0 at the Alexandria Stadium on Wednesday.
Chelsea FC defender Kenneth Omeruo will be looking to play an important role in helping the Super Eagles overcome Madagascar after scoring against Guinea.
The Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr will be keen to mastermind a victory against a Madagscar side, who stunned Burundi 1-0 on Thursday.
A
Group B game between Burundi and Guinea will take place at the Al Salam Stadium on the same day. Kick-off is at 17h00.
After that,
Uganda will face off with Egypt in a Group A match at the Cairo International Stadium. Kick-off is at 20h00.
