Max Verstappen will be desperate to win the
Emilia Romagna Grand Prix on April 24 in order to get his defence of the Formula One world title back on track.
The Red Bull Racing-RBPT driver became the second person to win the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix when he beat Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton to the finish line last year.
However, Verstappen has struggled this term having been forced to retire at the 2022 Australian Grand Prix on April 10 which was the most recent race this season.

The current Formula One world champion's Red Bull broke down when he looked destined for second in a race that was won by Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc.
Sergio Perez of Red Bull Racing-RBPT and Mercedes driver George Russell finished second and third respectively during the captivating race.
Leclerc is still at the top 2022 Drivers' Championship standings and he is followed by Russell and Carlos Sainz of Ferrari respectively.
Verstappen is now placed sixth on the standings and he will be among the favourites to win the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

"We are so far behind (Ferrari). We need to finish races. I smell some weird fluid," Verstappen said as he explained what happened during the Australian Grand Prix.
"Today was a bad day, I was managing the tyres, I could not fight Charles.
"It was an easy P2 but we didn't even finish the race -- frustrating and unacceptable. These kinds of things, if you want to fight for the title, are unacceptable."
Ferrari are placed at the top of the Constructors' Championship standings and they are followed by Mercedes and Red Bull Racing-RBPT respectively.
