Rory McIlroy will be determined to add the
St. Jude Championship trophy to his trophy collection when he tees off at the TPC Southwind.

The Northern Irish superstar reached number five in the FedExCup standings after successfully defending his title at 2022 The CJ Cup in his season debut.
McIlroy, who has won four golf major tournaments, is the current FedEx Cup champion having won the event a record three times - clinching it in 2016, 2019 and 2022.

Wee-Mac took a break from competitive golf after finishing sixth at the 2023 Open Championship and he missed the Barracuda Championship, 3M Open and Wyndham Championship.
The two-time PGA Tour leading money winner is currently placed second on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) as he looks to reclaim the top spot.
Why McIlroy is among the favourites
The St. Jude Championship trophy is one of the few trophies missing from the accomplished golfer's collection having won 37 professional tournaments.
McIlroy's most recent win came at the 2023 Genesis Scottish Open and it has surely boosted his confidence coming into this weekend's St. Jude Championship.
