2019/20 Premier League
Round 26, part II
14-17 February 2020
Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City will be ready for a Valentine’s battle when they meet at Molineux Stadium on Friday 14 February 2020, kick-off at 21:00. The match is one of six spread from 14 to 17 February to complete the 26
th round of the
2019/20 Premier League season.
Wolverhampton’s last outing was a 0-0 draw away to Manchester United on February 1, with Wanderers missing out on the chance to make up some ground in the race for European spots next season. However, their spirit remains high, according to captain Conor Coady.
“It doesn't matter if it is English or Portuguese, it's the best changing room I've ever been involved in,” said the Wolves skipper. "I can say that from the bottom of my heart. It's brilliant, every day going in."

Leicester, meanwhile, were held 2-2 at home by Chelsea in their last Premier League clash. The Foxes have closed in on second-placed Manchester City and will fancy their chances of nicking the runners-up spot ahead of the outgoing champions.
“We’ll give [the players] a clear run through until next weekend so they can have a rest, physically and mentally, and recover from all the exertions of the season so far,” manager Brendan Rodgers said. “We’ll be back in again and be ready for a game on Friday night [at Wolves]. All players, over the Christmas period until now, have been running on empty.”
In head-to-head stats, Wolverhampton and Leicester have met in 114 previous matches. Wolves have claimed 43 wins compared to 38 for the Foxes, while 33 games have been drawn.
When the teams met in the Premier League earlier this season, at the King Power Stadium in August 2019, they played out a goalless stalemate.
