The Milwaukee Bucks will chase a big win against old foes the Philadelphia 76ers when the teams meet in an NBA Regular Season clash at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the morning of Friday 18 February 2022. Tip-off is at 02:30.
The Bucks are amongst the leading contenders in the Eastern Conference, and recently boosted their roster with a trade to bring Serge Ibaka from the Los Angeles Clippers. “We're excited what Greg [Monroe] has done with us since he arrived and obviously Serge Ibaka has a very, very impressive résumé and has played at a high, high level," Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer said. "He's just a great player, played on a lot of great teams. We feel like he's going to really help us in a lot of different ways.”

The 76ers, meanwhile, made major headlines last week with a blockbuster trade which saw Ben Simmons leave for the Brooklyn Nets, while James Harden came over to Philadelphia. It remains to be seen whether this move will boost the 76ers’ hopes of finishing in the top four in the Eastern Conference.
“They were great. They all were great. We did watch a little bit of film, we had a lot of laughs together, and I told them about our team and how proud I was of where we were at to this point," said Philadelphia coach Doc Rivers of how his team coped with the upheaval.

“I think a lot of people thought before this year without having our All-Star, our other All-Star, we wouldn't be in this spot, and we are out of the top spot, and that's why in return I thought today, from a coaching standpoint, the right thing to do was to allow you guys to have your day.”
In head-to-head stats, the Bucks and the 76ers have met in 217 Regular Season games since 1968-69, with Milwaukee claiming 115 wins compared to 102 for Philadelphia. The teams’ last Regular Season meeting was in November 2021 and saw the Bucks win for the sixth successive time over the 76ers by triumphing 118-109 away, thanks to 31 points from Giannis Antetokounmpo.
