Chris Kirk will be hoping to achieve more success at the
Cognizant Classic by winning this weekend's tournament.
What to know about Kirk
The American star has won six times on the PGA Tour since turning professional in 2007 and he also earned three victories in the Korn Ferry Tour.
Kirk's best major finish is a fifth place at the 2022 PGA Championship and he also finished second in the 2014 FedEx Cup Playoffs.

The 2007 Ben Hogan Award winner has been inactive since he parted in the 2025 WM Phoenix Open in Arizona where he missed the cut.
The man nicknamed Captain Kirk is currently ranked 72nd on the Official World Golf Rankings and his best OWGR ranking is the 16th spot.

Captain Kirk has tasted success in the Cognizant Classic havin' won this tournament in 2023 following a playoff against Eric Cole.
Since then Kirk has won The Sentry with a 1-shot victory over Sahith Theegala in 2024 and he is now targeting his first win of the 2025 PGA Tour season at the Cognizant Classic.

"I hope it [the recovery journey] stays with me forever. It's a huge part of my life still now. Definitely the best thing that I've ever done in my life is to get sober," Kirk said after winning The Sentry.
"I don't feel like it's taking away from anything that I'm accomplishing. It's 100 per cent the reason why I'm able to do what I do. "I've said that a lot, but there would be - my PGA Tour career would have been over a while ago, had I not gotten sober.
"So, yeah, I'm fine with that staying with me for until the day I die."
