Justin Thomas is bidding to win the
Tournament of Champions for the third time in his career.
The American, who lifted the trophy in 2017 and 2020, would join an illustrious group of players to have won the event on three or more occasions.
Only Stuart Appleby (3), Tom Watson (3), Jack Nicklaus (5), Arnold Palmer (3) and Gene Littler (3) have achieved this feat in the past.

Thomas is currently sixth in the Official World Golf Ranking and most recently finished third at the World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba.
The 28-year-old has 14 PGA Tour victories to his name, one of which is the coveted PGA Championship he won in 2017.

His last outing of 2021 was at the Hero World Challenge where he finished tied for fifth.
"I played well and as bad as some of the golf shots I hit this week, I hit way more really, really good ones," Thomas said after shooting a final round of 64.
"Obviously I worked plenty hard the last couple of weeks but I wasn't exactly my normal preparation with Thanksgiving the week prior but I was glad to at least have a good one today to salvage a decent week."
