Sergio Perez will be looking to bounce back at the French Grand Prix after enduring a disappointing race at the recent
Austrian Grand Prix.
The Red Bull Racing-RBPT driver secured a podium finish in last year's French Grand Prix as he finished third following an enthralling race.
However, Perez is coming off a forgettable race in the Austrian Grand Prix on July 10 as he was forced to retire from the event.

While placed fifth in the Austrian Grand Prix, Perez suffered a first-lap collision with George Russell of Mercedes which left him with damage to his car and eventually forced him to retire from the race.
The race was won by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, while Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing-RBPT and Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton finished second and third respectively.
As a result, Verstappen is still at the top of the 2022 Drivers' Championship standings and he is currently followed by Leclerc in the table.
Perez remains third on the standings despite having been forced to retire from the Austrian Grand Prix and he will consolidate his spot in the top three if he wins the French Grand Prix.

"I was clearly ahead," Perez hit out at Russell after their collision in the recent race.
"It was up to George to really control his car, which he clearly couldn't, and we ended up making contact. There was nothing else I could have done. I gave him enough room.
"I was already very close to the gravel to make sure he had enough room, and for both of us to make the corner. For the standards of George, [and his] level, I'm very surprised at that manoeuvre."
Red Bull Racing-RBPT are placed at the top of the Constructors' Championship standings and they are followed by Ferrari and Mercedes respectively.
