The 2023 3M Open is scheduled to take place at the TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota, USA between 27 and 30 July.
What to know about the tournament
The event was announced by the PGA Tour in June 2018 and it debuted in 2019 on July 4-7 with Matthew Wolff winning the tournament.
The title sponsor of this PGA event is 3M which is originally known as the Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company.
The tournament succeeded the 3M Championship, a PGA Tour Champions event for 26 years (1993–2018), held at TPC Twin Cities since 2001.

The 3M Open officials announced the four young players - two from Minnesota - who will compete in the event for the first time as sponsor exemptions in the 2023 tournament.
Derek Hitchner, 22, Sam Bennett, the 23-year-old Texan, Brazilian Fred Biondi, 22, and Frankie Capan III, 23, are the four golfers who have been given exemptions.
Favourites
The 2023 3M field is headlined by the likes of Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Hideki Matsuyama, Sungjae Im and Sepp Straka who will all be part of the 156-player field.
Finau is the reigning 3M champion after winning last year's tournament and will be determined to defend the trophy.
What Is At Stake
The 2023 3M champion will get 500 FedEx Cup points, and 26 Official World Golf Ranking points.
The tournament boasts a purse of $7,8 million and the winner of the event will earn their share of $1,404 million, while also receiving a trophy.

Mike Welch, 3M Open tournament director, is looking forward to watching Hitchner, Sam Bennett, Biondi, 22, and Capan III in action at the TPC Twin Cities.
“This is a wonderful collection of young players who have all enjoyed successful amateur careers and hold a lot of promise to carry that over into the professional game,” Welch said.
“We are excited to have them compete in the 3M Open as they all go through the first stretch of their professional careers the rest of this season.”
