Greek starlet Stefanos Tsitsipas will take on American star John Isner in a
2021 French Open third-round match on June 4.
Tsitsipas defeated French player Jeremy Chardy and Spain's Petro Martinez on his way to the third round.
The 22-year-old has never won a Grand Slam title, but he has reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open twice (2019 and 2021) and French Open (2020).
Tsitsipas is oozing with confidence after eliminating Martinez in the second round match and he is hoping for a better performance against Isner.
"I felt like I had better days at the French Open, so I would love to see myself play a little bit better next time," Tsitsipas said.
"I've had good weeks this year, I've had some good results, but, of course, I feel like there's always better. I don't see my performance so far as super excellent and outstanding but I've been consistent."

Meanwhile, Isner eliminated his compatriot Sam Querrey in the first round clash, before defeating Serbian star Filip Krajinović in the second-round match.
The 36-year-old is still searching for his maiden Grand Slam title and he managed to reach the 2018 Wimbledon semi-finals and it remains his best performance in a major tournament.
This will be the sixth meeting between Tsitsipas and Isner in competitive matches.
Tsitsipas has the upper hand in this rivalry having has won three matches compared to Isner's two.
The winner between Tsitsipas and Isner will take on either American player Steve Johnson or Spain's Pablo Carreño Busta in the French Open in the fourth round.
