Cameron Smith will be hoping to become the third Australian golfer to win the
Memorial Tournament when he tees off at the Muirfield Village Golf Club.
David Graham and Greg Norman are the only Australian golfers to have won this tournament with the latter having clinched the trophy twice.
Smith, who is ranked fifth on the Official World Golf Rankings, has been one of the breakout players of the year and has proven himself to be among the best putters on PGA Tour.

The 28-year-old had a good run at the 2022 Masters Tournament that ended with a T-3 finish, his fourth top-10 at Augusta National in six starts.
Smith’s first win in the 2021-22 season and fourth career PGA Tour title came in January at the Sentry Tournament of Champions by one stroke over 2020 Memorial Tournament winner Jon Rahm.
The two-time Zurich Classic of New Orleans winner then claimed his fifth-career PGA Tour title two months later at The Players Championship by one stroke over Anirban Lahiri.
Smith missed the cut at last year’s Memorial and will be eager to improve on a T-65 career-best finish at Muirfield Village Golf Club when he makes his seventh start this weekend.
"I feel as though sometimes you can even hit really good golf shots and end up making bogeys and doubles around there," Smith said after this year's Masters Tournament.
"So, yeah, just a little bit frustrated. My game's in a good spot, I'm happy with how I guess handled the situation after and yeah, I'm just really looking forward to competing again this week.
"That's kind of in the rear-view mirror now."
Tiger Woods is the most successful golfer in the history of the Memorial Tournament having won the tournament a record five times.
