Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen will be seeking his first-ever
British Grand Prix victory in a bid to continue his dominance of the 2022 season.
The Dutchman took first place in the Canadian Grand Prix a fortnight ago to record his sixth win in nine races and a seventh podium finish this year.
Verstappen is likely to face stiff competition from Lewis Hamilton, who has bossed the Silverstone Circuit in recent times, winning the race on home soil seven times in the last eight years.

The best the 24-year-old has managed is P2 on two occasions (2016 and 2020), while he was forced to retire on lap 1 last year from pole position following a collision with Hamilton.
Verstappen leads the drivers' standings by 46 points ahead of Red Bull Racing team-mate Sergio Perez, with Ferrari's Charles Leclerc a further three points adrift in third place.
The reigning World Champion finished just 0.993 seconds in front of Carlos Sainz at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve and he admitted the Ferrari driver really pushed him throughout the race in Montreal.

"In general, quite a tough race for us. I was hoping for a little bit more pace from the car, it seemed like Ferrari in the race were strong," he said. "Of course, I could only really compare to Carlos. It was tough to really match him in terms of lap times.
"You just have to get on with it. The last 15 laps were flat out and I also knew, while being flat out, that I could not afford to make a mistake because he was always so close to me. It worked out at the end."
