Golden State Warriors will battle it out with the New Orleans Pelicans in the
National Basketball Association (NBA) match on March 4.

This will be the 70th meeting between the two teams in regular-season games since 2002 when Pelicans were established.
The Warriors have the upper hand in this rivalry having registered 43 wins compared to the Pelicans' 26 victories from 69 matches.
Last Meeting
The Pelicans defeated the Warriors, 128-83 as Brandon Ingram led all scorers with 34 points and six rebounds for the Pelicans on 22 November 2022.
As a result, the Pelicans improved to 10-7 on the season, while the Warriors fell to 8-10 following a game which took place at the Smoothie King Center.
What Is At Stake
The Warriors, who are playoffs hopefuls, are slowly improving as they are now placed on the seventh spot on the Western Conference standings having recorded 31 wins and 30 defeats.
While the Pelicans remain hopeful of reaching the playoffs and they are currently placed 10th in the Western Conference having registered 30 wins and 32 defeats.
Key Players
Jordan Poole tallied 26 points for the Warriors in the losing effort last November and the 23-year-old shooting guard will be looking to ensure that they avenge their defeat to the Pelicans.
On the other hand, Zion Williamson, who had nine points and four assists as he helped the Pelicans defeat the Warriors, is the player to watch out for in the New Orleans side.
