Enea Bastianini will be hoping to register his third win of the 2022 MotoGP season when he competes at the
French Grand Prix on May 15.
The Ducati rider finished 14th in last year's French MotoGP having started 22nd on the grid and his performance earned him two points.
Bastianini endured a disappointing race at the Spanish MotoGP on May 1 which was the most recent race in the 2022 MotoGP season.

The 24-year-old has already tasted success twice in the current campaign having won the Qatar MotoGP on March 6 and American MotoGP on April 10.
The recent Spanish MotoGP was won by Bastianini's teammate Francesco Bagnaia, who was followed by Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo and Aleix Espargaró of Aprilia respectively.
The reigning MotoGP world champion Quartararo is placed at the top of the 2022 riders' standings and he is followed by Espargaró as the race for the championship continues.
Bastianini is placed third in the standings and a victory at the French MotoGP will boost his hopes of challenging for the world title.

Asked by Motorsport.com in an exclusive interview how long he thinks he can maintain his early-campaign momentum on the 2021-spec MotoGP bike, Bastianini said: "I don't know. "Surely the official bikes will have evolutions throughout the championship.
"But for the moment my bike has nothing to envy in 2022, maybe a little agility because of the new fairing. But for the rest, they are very similar. Therefore, I don't feel inferior to the officials.
"I'm here to try to win and try to get the best results this year. In terms of the future, obviously, the goal is to make it to a factory team. It will depend on many factors, first of all, to get results. For the moment I'm focused on this championship."
Ducati are placed at the top of the Manufacturers' Championship standings and they are followed by Yamaha and Aprilia respectively.
