Max Verstappen will hope for better luck at the Turkish Grand Prix, when the 2020 Formula One World Championship hosts Round 14 at the Intercity Istanbul Park circuit on Sunday 15 November.
The Red Bull driver crashed out of Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Imola earlier this month, his fourth retirement this season. Yet in every race Verstappen has finished, he has claimed a podium, underlining his remarkable consistency and status as the only driver anywhere close to challenging the dominance of Mercedes.

Verstappen is third on the drivers' championship standings and unlikely to be caught by nearest chaser Daniel Ricciardo of Renault. In fact, with a bit of luck on his side, the young Dutchman could haul in second-place Valtteri Bottas, who is 35 points ahead in second spot.
The Intercity Istanbul Park circuit could well be one that suits the Red Bull, with the team claiming victory at the last Turkish Grand Prix back in 2011. Sebastian Vettel led a 1-2 ahead of teammate Mark Webber.

"The car was feeling quite good, and then suddenly on the straight I lost the car because there was a tyre blow out," said Verstappen of his crash at Imola. “I don’t exactly know what happened but when I quickly looked at the car there was nothing broken on the car, so it’s a big shame.”
Team boss Christian Horner said, “We think that he’s hit some kind of debris because he was on the radio to his race engineer at the time and boom, the tyre suddenly went. So it suggests just a total instantaneous puncture and that was the result of it so very frustrating.”
