Akshay Bhatia will be eager to record his second victory of the 2022/23 season by clinching the
Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
What to know about Bhatia
Despite being only 21, the American starlet has won five professional tournaments having turned pro in 2019 after being the runner-up at the 2018 U.S. Junior Amateur.
Bhatia won two silver medals at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in the boy's individual and the mixed team with fellow promising golfer Lucy Li.

Bhatia took part in the most recent event on the 2022/23 PGA Tour which was the World Wide Technology Championship and he finished 10th.
The youngster finds himself placed 104th on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best ranking is 100th.

In July 2023, the Los Angeles-born golfer earned his first PGA Tour and first European Tour victory by winning in a playoff at the Barracuda Championship.
This win showed that Bhatia has what it takes to win PGA Tour events and this makes him one of the strong contenders for the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
