2021 Genesis Invitational
PGA Tour
18-21 February 2021
Riviera Country Club, Pacific Palisades, California
The 2021 edition of the
PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational – set for the Riviera Country Club, Pacific Palisades, California from 18 to 21 February – is set to be headlined by the trio of Adam Scott, Dustin Johnson and Bubba Watson.
Scott is the defending champion after a 273 (-11) which put him two strokes ahead of Scott Brown, Kang Sung-hoon and Matt Kuchar last year, with the Australian hoping to build momentum through 2021.

“I would like to quickly get to 20 PGA Tour wins at this point,” he said. “I think that would be a nice little accomplishment for me and obviously winning another major and trying to do a Brooks or a Jordan or a Rory and win a few really quick. Because quick is important at this point.”
One of the major threats to Scott’s title defence hopes will come from world number one Dustin Johnson, whose recent victory at the European Tour’s Saudi International further entrenched his status as the world’s best golfer.
“After Augusta to get my first win, the game’s still in really good form and I’m looking forward to the rest of the year,” said Johnson. “Conditions were tough, especially a couple of the days, but I felt like I struck it very well. I drove it really good, so I gave myself a ton of chances. Obviously, I'm very pleased with the win and very excited but I'm going to have to go home and work on the putting a bit I think.”

Another to look out for is three-time Genesis Invitational champion Bubba Watson, who will be gunning for a fourth title to join Macdonald Smith and Lloyd Mangrum at the top of the all-time winners list.
Watson’s Genesis Invitational triumphs arrived in 2014 (269, -15, two strokes ahead of runner-up Dustin Johnson), 2016 (269, -15, one stroke ahead of Jason Kokrak and Adam Scott) and 2018 (272, -12, two strokes ahead of Kevin Na and Tony Finau).
