Ducati Lenovo Team's Francesco Bagnaia will look to put the disappointment of Motegi behind him in an attempt to haul in Fabio Quartararo at the
Thailand Grand Prix on Sunday, October 2.
The Italian is the closest challenger to defending champion Quartararo in the riders' standings as they are separated by 18 points with four races remaining in the season.

Bagnaia has enjoyed a fine year after a difficult start, claiming seven podiums in the last 11 rounds, which includes six victories, the latest coming in the San Marino Grand Prix on September 4.
The 25-year-old crashed out on the final lap of the Japanese Grand Prix as he tried to overtake Quartararo into P8, costing him valuable points.

Bagnaia was seen clapping after getting up from the gravel and he admitted: "It was at myself because I think I did an idiot manoeuvre.
"I made a huge mistake today! I struggled with overtaking because my traction was not the best. I was losing a bit of time on the acceleration but I was so strong in the braking.
"I was a bit too optimistic in this case and the only good thing, the only luck we had was that I didn't touch Fabio on my crash so I didn't disturb his race. It has been a big mess for me. I'm not happy about it."
