Sunday, 30 August 2020
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen will be hoping to clinch the
Belgian Grand Prix title on August 30.
The 22-year-old star, who has a Dutch father and a Belgian mother, is looking to win this race for the first time having been born in the Belgian city of Hasselt.
Verstappen was forced to retire from last year's Belgian Grand Prix after colliding with Kimi Räikkönen at the first corner, resulting in suspension damage and causing his first retirement of the season.

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc won the race, while Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas finished second and third respectively.
Verstappen has won one race thus far in the 2020 season which was the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix on August 09.
Looking at this year's Drivers' Championship standings, Hamilton is still sitting at the top with Verstappen and Bottas placed second and third respectively.
Verstappen finished second behind Hamilton in the most recent race which was the Spanish Grand Prix with Bottas settling for the third spot.

The four-time FIA Action of the Year was pleased with his performance at the Spanish Grand Prix, but he admitted that Mercedes have faster cars.
"It’s a great result for us to split the two Mercedes cars today after they have been so quick and I’m very happy with that," said Verstappen.
"Overall, it’s been another strong weekend with a good amount of points which we should be happy with. I made a good start and it was important to get past Valtteri early, which I did.
"I tried everything to stay with Lewis in the first stint but overall their car was faster and Lewis was a bit too quick today," he added.
"At the moment we’re in-between the two Mercedes cars and of course we’d like to push Lewis harder but you have to be realistic as they still have the faster car."
Mercedes are placed at the top of Constructors' standings followed by second-placed Red Bull and third-placed Racing Point-BWT Mercedes.
