The Blades are yet to win a league game this season and head into this weekend's round of fixtures in 19th spot on the log standings, following a 2-1 loss away to Liverpool last time out.
City have conjured just the one win from their last four matches and were held to a 1-1 draw away to West Ham United in their most recent league fixture.

Injuries have continued to take its toll on the Cityzens with Sergio Aguero set for another spell on the sidelines. Kevin de Bruyne came off the bench at London Stadium but Raheem Sterling looks set to continue in a more central role with Gabriel Jesus also still sidelined through injury.
“It’s just making decisions. Sometimes, the players arrive in the positions tired. That’s why you have to keep going and sooner or later, we will get to our best to win the game," said City manager Pep Guardiola who lamented the club's busy schedule.
“We did enough to win the game [against West Ham] but we could not do it because we are still in the process to get our best moment.
“It is difficult to predict the future. We will see what happens next time. Every season is a challenge – every game is.
“The world is different right now – not just for us: for everyone."
